Borrow our Iron

You can borrow our iron at the front desk from the Library of Things in the library. Together with the ironing board in the TextilLab, you can use it to press your fabrics.

Tip: Well pressed is half sewn. 🙂

The iron can also be used to apply fusible interfacing (Vlieseline) to fabric. For example, this is useful for jersey fabrics when you want to embroider them, as the interfacing stabilizes the material and prevents it from stretching or puckering during stitching
