Hello, glad you’re here! We want to make sure you have a great start. In the following, we document which materials you need, and we also link to shops so you are well informed.

Note: We do not endorse any specific shops or brands. However, it is very important that you use the correct materials so that the machines are not damaged and you achieve the best possible embroidery results.

What do I need to bring? 🪡

  • Needles & Bobbins (Nadeln & Spulen):

    • 6× Organ embroidery needles for VR/PR, size 75 / System HAx130EBBR --> Please use exactly THESE needles and no others!
      (e.g., Shop)
    • 1× Brother bobbin for PR, VR, and PQ series
      (e.g., Shop)
  • Threads (Garne & Fäden):

    • Embroidery thread (Always use high-quality thread! It improves both the embroidery design and protects the machine)
    • Bobbin thread
  • Materials (Materialien):

    • Fabric (Caution: Do not use thick or non-flexible leather or similar materials!)
    • Stabilizer / batting (depending on the fabric)

How do I get an embroidery file? 🗎

How do I get an embroidery file? 🗎

  • You can use the ones already stored in the machine, either alone or in combination.

  • You can use purchased embroidery files.
    Attention: You will need a USB stick here. (Use a USB stick with a small storage capacity, as the embroidery machine has limited processing power.)

  • You can create your own files, for example using the free software Inkscape with the Inkscape-InkStitch plug-in.
    Attention: You will need a USB stick here.
    It is also recommended to bring a laptop, so you can edit the files on-site.
